Blues sign free-agent Rucinsky

ST. LOUIS (AP) - The St. Louis Blues signed free-agent Czech forward Martin Rucinsky on Wednesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"We have added a veteran goal scorer with proven leadership skills," Blues president John Davidson said. "We are happy to have an opportunity to acquire a player of Martin's ability and look forward to his second stint with the St. Louis Blues."
The 35-year-old Czech had 16 goals and 39 assists in the NHL last season for the New York Rangers. He had 16 goals and 14 assists in 61 games for the Blues in 2002-03.
In his 14-year career, he has 224 goals and 339 assists in 869 regular-season games with Edmonton, Quebec-Colorado, Montreal, Dallas, St. Louis, Vancouver and New York.
