Anchovy

Anchovy has been referred to as various different names in several old Chinese and Korean books. Japanese call anchovy, Katakuchiiwashi. It grows up to 15 cm in length. Physically an anchovy has an oval shaped body with flat sides. It has a proportionately big mouth and the angle of the mouth elevates towards the gills. The upper jaw protrudes from the head and there are fine sized teeth found on each side of the jaw. Gaedo's anchovy farm is well known for the production of anchovy and processed products using anchovy. |
